BURY YOUR DEAD Comments On Singer's Departure
May 13, 2007Boston metal/hardcore outfit BURY YOUR DEAD has issued a statement regarding the departure of vocalist Michael Crafter (formerly of the the Australian metal band I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN) less than two months after he was named the group's new lead singer.
Commented the band: "With all the recent hurdles BURY YOUR DEAD has faced, we are still forging ahead. Michael Crafter sacrificed a lot to come to the U.S. and help out on this tour, but unfortunately for him he had to go home with short notice. This does not stop or slow us down in any way. We are completing this tour with the vocal contribution of Myke Terry, formerly of the band CASSIUS. We have not, and will not, cancel any shows on the remainder of this tour. These are trying times for BURY YOUR DEAD but we make these changes to further improve the quality and longevity of this band. Thank you everybody for your support. We will see you shortly."
BURY YOUR DEAD is in the middle of the "Don't Call It A Comeback" headlining tour with SUICIDE SILENCE, STICK TO YOUR GUNS and SINCE THE FLOOD.
